We use EPDM bonding adhesive to properly glue the rubber against the insulation on the roof.

If you have a flat roof, the best material to install right now is EPDM rubber. Traditionally Torchdown was the way to go, but it's outdated, non-environmentally-friendly, and repairs can be costly.

Any work done on the roof needs to be properly watertight and sealed. At the owner's request we changed the copper flashing on this canopy and properly sealed the area.

After applying ice water shield around canopy perimeter, we continued to install copper flashing and finished with the installation of vermont slates.

While there's many types of EPDM sizes, our recommendation most commonly falls to 060, as it minimizes costs and it's also dependent on location.

It takes excellent craftsmanship and years of experience to properly bend copper to the right shape and size. We commonly caulk all areas in order to prevent any leaks.

For this project, the client requested we rebuild their chimney and properly seal it with copper flashing. This increased the value of their home and the following year they sold their house.

In order to prevent leaks inside your hope, we do recommend installing metal flashing or copper flashing into the wall and seal properly. Sometimes when installations take place, roofers will commonly leave the wall unsecured and will only watertight on the base. It's important to watertight at least 6" from the wall to the base where it meets the roof.

This was one of the few instances where the client wanted to torchdown the flat roof, instead of EPDM.

Industry standards calls for 5-6 screws to be installed with insulations. We normally increase this depending on the size of the insulation and pitch.

In order to extend the life of your gutters, we recommend calling us at least twice a year. Another method, specially helpful during fall, is to install gutter covers to prevent any leaves or additional environmental factors from clogging your gutter/ downspout.
